After spending a frustrating afternoon trying to find a dirt road to the shot I wanted, I happened to look to the west and saw this rain squall moving across Verde Valley. I knew it was going to fade out rapidly, so I parked quickly on the side of the hill, grabbed the camera out of the back of the truck and fired off a couple of fast shots.
Charles,
I hope we all do. It doesn't matter where the violence happens, Pennsburg or Pakistan, one sometimes feels like Billy Kwan typing, "What then must we do?" Many go in with a camera and skillfully address the situation. I lack that ability, but I think we all share a common empathy with those directly impacted. I think we all want it to end.
