Uhooru
Hi all, its Friday again. Time display our talents once again and bedazzle the photographic world. Don't be shy. I'll start this week's mayhem by posting a photo I took at Long Beach, CA a couple of weeks ago. I used the brilliant GX7 and CV Nokton 50. They made a nice combo:

charlie lemay
Something a bit unusual for me this week. My friend, designer Harry Umen, teamed up with MIT scientist, Angela Chang, to create a high tech dress for the Fashiondescience competition (http://www.fashiondescience.com/#!collaboration/cz4u). Since the dress had to be photographed against white and it was composed of an array of LED lights, Harry asked me design the lighting for the shoot. i also stepped in and made some of the pics as well. This one is my favorite.

Uhooru
Ian, you have had some interesting experiences in Tibet. Photos are great. First time? How do you do with the altitude?

charlie lemay
I posted a thread last night on this forum announcing the publication of my first book, "SEEING." I discovered this morning that a moderator moved it. The announcement was meant for my friends and colleagues who frequent this thread every week with me. I have asked them to return it to the place I intended, but in case they won't, if you are interested, please go to http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00ck3H or my web site, www.charlielemay.net. Ian Taylor
Thanks Barry. Yep first time, we were in the far west part of Sichuan where it's 80% Tibetan. Altitude was OK after a few days. Never made it much over 5000 meters.

jonathan_reynolds
Ian . : 'Back from Tibet' is wonderful! Extremely atmospheric, no interaction with the photographer, great use of depth of field. I love it.
