Nikon Wednesday 2014: #26

<p>Most of my photography has centered around my 5 month old daughter ever since she came home from the hospital. Being a stay at home dad 5 days a week has plenty of rewards, but having a lot of time for photo treks is not one of them. I'm trying not to be one of those people that only post pictures of their kids, but I thought this one was just too cute to not share. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!</p><div></div>

<p>Cory. She's a beauty. I was a stay at home Dad too (for 2.5 years). Your shot brings back memories of our little ones.</p>

<p>The Pond Skater is definitely alive; however, the Ant's, well, not so much..:-(</p>

<p>Up here in Minnesota we are being flooded out by the rising Mississippi and neighboring rivers. Here's the bike path going through the woods near the river. We're a mile or so from the river, so the entire woods is now underwater!</p><div></div>

<p>Looking towards downtown St. Paul along the Mississippi. It doesn't look too flooded here but the water is 20 feet above flood levels.</p><div></div>

<p>Cory, With a model as cute as that precious little girl why would you want to venture out anywhere to take photos.<br>

Take as many as you can, they don't stay little very long. :-))</p>

<p>Thanks Robin, John and Roberta. My wife and I were blessed to have a baby that's generally happy most times and smiles a lot. We've taken many thousands of pictures of her in the months that she's been here and will continue to take many thousands more I'm sure!</p>

<p>Happy Wednesday everyone. Great photos - this must be one of our best weeks for a while. Too many to mention them all individually, but that's a really special pic of your daughter Cory :-)</p>

<p>They are not too much trouble, but they <em>are</em> great time stealers. You start playing with them and all of a sudden a couple of hours have passed by!</p>
