(Help) Shooting indoor with different and poor light

Hi,
I've been asked to help a friend take a couple of photos of his store. It's been a while since I've held a camera and I mostly shot outdoors then.
I'm adding a couple of photos to show you how the photos the last guy (not me) took came out. The lighting in the store is mostly fluorescent downstairs and natural/spots/fluorescent upstairs. Any tips, techniques etc. on how to tackle this? Thanks! *I'm using a Nikon D700.

at night.

WB to the color temp of the light that's most prominent (by square footage).
Use Adjustment Brush in Lightroom or Photoshop's ARC for spot corrections.
Don't try to exactly balance, just minimize the difference.
