rogerwb
I recently acquired several "N" type film mags which supposedly can be used in the M series film cameras. Apparently, these were made in two versions, one being slightly longer than the other. If these were specifically designed for the M series, it seems strange that they do not fit, in that it is impossible to close the bottom cover. I have two M3's, one is the early series without the frame selector. The mags will not fit either one. Are the proper ones still available or will it be an ebay search?
john_shriver
There's the FILCA magazine for screwmounts, which is longer than the IXMOO magazine for M mounts. The IXMOO has a chrome or aluminum knob on the end (that the bottom cover latch turns), the FILCA has a brass one. Here's one comparative picture.
rogerwb
Thanks for the clarification. Judging from the prices asked on ebay for these babies, it would be cheaper for me to just buy an LTM body. Or, I'll just ut the ones I have up for sale and forget about bulk loading.
