steve_levine
This is a link to NIKON's website. Their "history & technology" page which contains a lot of information on vintage products. Much technical info on the development of ,and specs on older bodies and lenses. I loved it.

http://imaging.nikon.com/history/
marc_rochkind
Been looking at it for years. It's really great that Nikon does this. Canon has some history on its site, too... don't think it's this complete.

rick_gerbehy1
This post made me remember the days I would go to Rockefeller Center in NYC to window shop at the Nikon store. Great place for Nikon fans at that time.

Their windows were "the" windows to shop and drool over the shiny NIKON's.

luis_vernon1
I too live in NYC and fondly remember visiting Nikon House at Rockefeller Center back in the 70's and 80's, looking at all the latest Nikon cameras and lenses. As I recall, there was even a camera repair tech on the premises to give Nikons the once over to see if a problem could be solved on the spot..Those were the days...sigh!
