dan_berry1
I was given this camera by a relative, and have no clue anything about it. There is not a model # listed on it. Any info would be appreciated.
Dieter Schaefer
Nikon FE - should say so on the back next to the serial number (right hand side below the film advance lever).
dan_berry1
Thanks, Dieter.
The back says FE (i think, it's a little bit scratched away) then 3191968

leicaglow
Great camera, and if that is a 105mm f/2.5 lens, that is one of the best Nikon ever made.
Dieter Schaefer
Sure looks like the 105/2.5 Ai...

CoryAmmerman
Dan, that's a really nice kit. I wish I had such generous relatives. The 105/2.5 and 50/1.4 are great lenses. Although some are not impressed with the 35/2.8, I really like mine. And since the lenses are more than likely at least AI versions, they can be used on modern Nikon DSLR's as well.
virginia_john_mybusiness
I had Nikon Fs during that time, but had all of those lenses and love each one.
Dieter Schaefer
Still own the 105/2/5 Ai - first lens I ever purchased. Had a 35/2.8 - nothing remarkable about that one. Also owned a 50/1.4 at one point - mostly to be used for low-light shooting wide open - a big disappointment.

Sycamoe
I have an FE and the 105, too and it's really fun stuff to shoot if you don't mind using film. Great great camera and built like a tank compared to the new stuff. You will especially enjoy that lens.
kohanmike
For 30 years I had two F2 Photomics (talk about a tank), with the same 105 f/2.8, a 35 f/2, which was exceptionally sharp, and a Vivitar 70-210 f/3.5 Macro Series 1.
mike_halliwell
Don't suppose it's the 35mm f2.8 PC lens....:-) Nice for full-frame architecture.
