zeiss folder question

this is about the zeiss nettar 120 folder camera<br>

whats the difference between the<br>

nettar anastigmat lens and the novar anastigmat lens thats in the nettar camera<br>

and why did zeiss give the same name to a camera range and also a lens<br>

so you could have a nettar camera with a novar lens and a nettar camera with a nettar lens<br>

is one better than the other<br>

have I got this right<br>

<p>The Zeiss Ikon was made in several models and at least some models were available with different lens. <br>

<p>A Lens Collector's Vade Mecum lists both as being triplets. The Novar is a common moderate price option, the Nettar was the lower price lens as all that is said is they were sold on folders without rangefinders parallel to the more expensive and elaborate versions.</p>
