Mikhail - love the second pic, too cute!

I have a couple this week, one inspired my Matt's photo, and this one... a tale of three auctions. I bid on a Nikon N6006 with 28-85 lens and a Pelican case and "lost" it to a sniper. I was mainly interested in the lens so I found another and won it. Meanwhile, I secured a replacement for my defective Minolta 7000i, and it came with old Kodak 200 film. The next day the N6006 guy sends me an email saying the winner didn't want to pay for shipping (he was in Britain) and I could have the camera, lens and case if I wanted. I said yes. Here's a shot using the old expired film from the other auction...

00c9UI-543538484.jpg.e33c11f698d7841a412a120b99ac8fbd.jpg

Happy Nikon Wednesday everyone, great images once again!. I chose another racecar photo for this week. This is Sam Posey's 1970 Dodge Challenger that Competed in the SCCA's Trans Am class, shot in September at the Lime Rock historic festival. Love the color of this car, which is called sublime.

00c9UJ-543538584.jpg.a5006d85a1cab358cefbd3c214db8f0d.jpg

Good Morning Wednesday :)

After a long time posting few pictures on this thread. Last weekend went out and came back with few lighthouse (small one but working) pictures and a old-rustic garage for boats.

Shot all with D600 and 24-70mm

Greetings from the depths of northern Ontario. Snow on the ground here for the past 5 days.
I visited the new Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto last week. It's an absolutely fascinating facility. It was a real challenge taking photos: crowds, thick plexiglas with fingerprints, the constant movement of the fish and, most of all, very low light. Anyway, here are a few shots. They really don't do justice. It's like taking a still photo of a campfire. I could have sat in front of any of the viewing areas for the whole day; but, if you want to see it all, you have to move on.

These three were taken in Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario this past August while canoeing for a couple of weeks. The pictures have to be earned, there are no motors allowed in the park and you may only camp for a few days on a lake before portaging to another. It is nestled in La Cloche mountain range, known to be older and once higher than the Rockies.
