Minox film cassettes availability

Hello all and greetings from Colombia. I am resurrecting my Minox LX camera circa 1981. My daughter Paloma convinced me that the Minox can still be used despite overwhelming use of digital photography. So, I'm cleaning up all my Minox equipment including my old Minox BW enlarger and all other items I have. I plan to cut my own Minox rolls of film and for this purpose I have the Minox slitter. However, I was wondering where can I get Minox film cassettes since my stock is low. I wrote to Minox Germany and they told me that they don't have them available, at least for the time being. Do you know where can I buy some even if they are second hand?

Thanks

You best bet is to check out ebay regularly, sometimes there are batch of Minox cassettes for sale.
Alternatively you my buy Minox film and retrieve the cassette, which can be reuse over and over

Hi Gordon, I suppose the metal ones I have are also brass. Fortunately, I still have about a dozen plastic cassettes which contrary to popular belief, I have used them many, many times with no problems at all. However, I would like to have some more because they do break easily. Hope Minox GmbH will make them available again.
Thanks my friend!!
