Nikkors on new M

<p>I hope that some of you have gotten their hands on a new M already....<br /> To make it brief, has anyone used any Nikkor lenses (F-mount) on it? Considering to solidify my arsenal and giving others the benefit of use of my Nikon gear, which is sitting idle a lot these days... but wanna keep a few of the lenses if they work well.</p>

<p>Well, it should work as well as Leica R lenses with that adapter. What the real question is (which I can't answer) is how is the Live View focusing on the M (Type 240).</p>

<p>I've used some - G-type lenses are a pain, but old lenses with aperture rings are fine.</p>

<p>I've used a 55mm/2.8 micro, and a screwdriver 80-200 two-ring.</p>

<p>There are adaptors out there that work with G-type lenses, but I don't know how well, you'd have to guess the aperture I think - hopefully someone will come out with a better solution.</p>

<p>I need also similar solution soon that's why I'm searching & checking adapters.</p>

My experience so far. Nikon lenes not working will live view with my Nikon to Leica M mount adapter. Also read above

article. G mount makes a difference with G lenes apparently. Pentax and a number of RF lenes do not work either. Will
