New Cameleon App to Launch at B&H Photo July 25

We'll begin with a short lecture, question/answer, and discussion, and overview of Cameleon and then go on a fun iOS powered photo walk on the spectacular High Line (with maybe a quick stop at the beer garden too!)<br>

<strong>What is Cameleon?</strong><br>

<a href="http://f295.org/cameleon/">Cameleon</a> moves iPhone photography beyond toy filters, lenses, and kitischy film packs. We don't lock you into pre-defined looks and kitsch effects, but give you direct control over the five essential elements of an image: Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, and Hue so you can dial in your own awesome, signature photographs!</p>

<br />It ships with six factory presets and a normal mode. The factory settings range from high contrast color, creamy black & white, funky & colorful, and a range of things between. The presets are only there to get you started. Tweak, experiment and make them your own. Edit on the fly! Cameleon wants you to define your images. This is your camera and your photographs.<br /><br />Our unique user defined preset system will save you valuable time and will eliminate most routine post processing steps!<br /><br />Cameleon also offers a great live preview. As soon as you select a preset, the on screen image changes to reflect your selection - real time instant feedback! What you see is what you get!<br /><br />Fully non-destructive capture and editing! If you make a shot and you're not happy, open it in the editor and adjust. The original is safe. If you want to keep both, select save a copy and compare them side by side. Go from BW to color and back. It's fast, easy, and all yours!<br /><br /><strong>Cameleon's V1 features</strong>:

Cameleon does not track or harvest any user information. We're not interested in facial recognition software or keeping tabs on where you've been, knowing who you're with, or where you're going. We only want to be your favorite camera app... not your mother.

 

<strong>V1 is Now Available</strong>

We proud to say that our basic <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cameleon/id666160813?ls=1&mt=8">Cameleon</a> V1.0 is currently available in the app store, but there should be a significant update just in time for the B&H event (we just submitted V1.1 for approval!) that has exponentially faster save times, instagram integration, and lots of other fixes and improvements!<br /><br />

<strong>System requirements</strong>

<strong>iPhone 5</strong> is our only officially supported platform.

But we know from beta testing that Cameleon works well on iPhone 4 & 5, iPad 2, 3, 4, mini and all iPods with cameras. Cameleon does <strong>NOT</strong> support iPhone 4S. iOS 6 is required.
