I could always depend on her for a clear eyed response to any issue raised on these forums. I will miss her even hand and good advice. My deepest sympathy to all who are close to her, and were fortunate enough to know her.

I don't do wedding photography, but enjoyed reading her posts anyway, as she conveyed well her knowledge, wisdom, and good heart together with the calm and maturity so valued in a forum moderator. I had missed her here recently, and now know why. Her spirit came through in her words, and made Photo.net a better place. I will miss her gentle and steady presence.

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

I was so sorry to read about Nadine's passing in the newsletter today. When I first started my own photography business, Nadine was very helpful to me. Every piece of advice she had was useful and practical, and her criticism was constructive and correct - and all of it well-said in a way I could absorb. She had such a good way of putting things. My sincere condolences go to her family and loved ones, and I hope they know just how many people she has helped over the years. May her spirit rest in peace.

Stunning and tragic news. Though never meeting her in person, I always envisioned Nadine as a warrior princess.
Full of warmth and kindness but able to neutralize adversity with grace and strength.
I cannot even say that "she will be missed her on photonet", for that is a gross understatement. We have lost a vital component of photonet. I can't imagine the grief her family must be dealing with.
Peace to you, Nadine...and peace to your friends and family.

Wow, I just read this and I am so saddened by this news. I had backed away from wedding and events for the last 6 months or so because things had got so busy and hadn't been back to pnet up until now. Nadine was such a sweetheart and always willing to share and help others. I learned so much from Nadine. She will definitely be remembered for helping others. My condolences goes out to her family she will be missed...

Nadine was a well respected person on this site. I enjoyed reading her comments and I learned much from her. Although I have not been on the site as much as I would like, she was the one person who shared a vast amount of knowledge. She never made anyone feel out of place and ecouraged anyone willing to learn become better. Thanks Nadine for your knowledge. Photonet will definately miss your input. May God watch over her and her family.

I found Nadine via photo.net and I had her shoot my wedding. One of her favorite shots she mentioned in one of the interviews was of me hugging my mom. Nadine was a incredible class act, so smart, and amazingly talented. I am saddened to hear of this news as I haven't been on PN for a while. Her skill was one that was simple, yet captivating. She will be missed.
