edwardmendes
Hi John,

Out of the "box" the only meta information you can add to WordPress is the site's heading and tagline information under "General" tab within the "Settings" menu on the admin page. With WordPress meta information such as adding "tags" for the site as a whole is generally something attributed to the theme you are using. If you look at different themes you'll notice many of them will mentioned something about SEO in regards to their features. Check out your theme settings/options to see if it has built-in SEO features such as the ability to add "tags".

It it doesn't there are many WordPress plug-ins you can install that will add more robust SEO functionality. If this is the case select "add new" under the plug-in menu on the left side of your admin page. Once there do a search for SEO and you'll find about 1,000 plug-ins to choose from. They install with a simple click.

Hope this helps.
