ted_norris
The autofocus on my Artixscan 120tf seems to be broken. Microtek no longer supports the scanner and will not help, and PrecisionCamera does not do repairs on this model either. Does anyone know who might be able to perform repairs on this (previously wonderful) scanner??
leicaglow
Ted, these are nice scanners. If your profile at least said where you lived, that would be a help. If in the US, check in Europe, as the brand is still distributed there.
ted_norris
Thanks. I'm in the US, but the Microtek online help (which I believe is international) says they do no support any repairs, parts are not available, and they can't recommend anyone outside. Barring completely ridiculous shipping fees, it would be worth it to me to send it nearly anywhere...
andreas_carl
For what it's worth, I never use the autofocus on this wonderful but much underrated scanner. I get MUCH sharper scans with the glass holder and the autofocus switched off...! There is a company in Florida, that still sells holders for this scanner, and upgraded antinewton glass.
