New topic : Meeting ?

<p>Photo.net gather loads of photographers from all around the world. What about an area on the website where people from the same geographical area, or on a trip can plan meetings ?</p>

<p>Mirage: In principle I like the idea of doing a shoot with other, more advanced photographers. I'm not sure that what your proposing is necessary, since any member/subscriber can contact any other either by email or through p.net's internal messaging system.</p>

<p>As an adendum to your suggestion Mirage, I would prefer PN to post the photographers location/town for easy reference for others.<br>

Make it a compulsory field in the member sign on. For me, I would enjoy knowing that ex-photog lives in Manchester UK or Adelaide, South Australia or where-ever.<br>

But on your original idea, I tend to agree with Michael</p>

<p>After reading you, I think your ideas are better. Something like displaying the location of the photographer, and if you click on the city name (for example) you have the list of all photographers living there.</p>

<p>This already exists. If you want to meet someone... message them via the site. That said, I think if anyone wanted to meet me (and I have met and spoken to SOME members) they would have to prove they were real. Having your own picture somewhere on the site would help! A believable name would be good too.</p>

<p>I am using a pseudonym, to protect my online privacy. Requested also by my wife who is not really at ease having pictures of her on the Internet.<br>
