miragephotography
I was wondering, as photographs often needs models, would not a seek/offer for modeling topic welcome ? Or more general, a topic about models, where people could posts stories about what to do / not to do with models, kind of contract help for amateurs who wants to hire a model, ...
mark_chartrand
I think that is a pretty good idea, Mirage. Many newer photographers don't really know how to find models or some of the dos and dont's when dealing with them.
davidmccracken
Most of my photos require models but at the end of the day this is a photograph site, not a model site. There are plenty of sites out there that models looking for photographers post to.
miragephotography
David, I know this is a not model site. But photographs needs model, and if at the end of the day you have good photos, it's because model was confident.
I was requesting not a forum where to meet models, ther are loads of them, but advice from exeprienced photographers to begginers. And i think even experienced photographers can grab ideas, to have a better interaction with their models.
mike dixon
Questions about finding and working with models typically fit best in the Portrait and Fashion forum: http://www.photo.net/portraits-and-fashion-photography-forum/ Such questions are posted there occasionally, but it's not a broad (or active) enough topic to require a separate forum.
