'Silhouette In The Fog'
It was very foggy this morning around these parts, so what does a photographer do when the fog has rolled in as thick as pea soup and the visibility is 1/16 of a mile or less? Go out and take photos, of course!

00b6Jl-507202184.jpg.451f75ac6bd92a5a8562c69d1887d009.jpg

We had a foggy morning here on Sunday and I had a chance to try to get some pictures. I'm still sorting through and processing but here's one from a local park.

This shot ain`t perfect by any means, but I couldn't resist the tongue action. ;-)
Besides, it was the first cheetah I'd ever seen (at the St. Lois Zoo on Oct. 26).
Sorry I haven't been active this fall, but I just started a PhD program (in my early 50s) and, besides having no time, I didn't have decent photo editing software on my new laptop till recently.

Great shots again this week. You guys and gals are inspiring.

I especially like the Zion shots, Thom. I don't live very far from Zion, but I still haven't been there with a decent camera.

The wind is usually howling in Maui, but it was strangely calm last weekend, which made it a good day for outdoor flower shots. And a bird. You guys seem to like birds....
