asher
"How to Shoot Video That Doesn't Suck", by Steve Stockman
I highly recommend reading this short book ("Like two years of film school in 248 pages").
I enjoyed it so much that I am reading it again. A lot of it is also applicable to still photography.
Video preview by the author:
http://www.amazon.com/Shoot-Video-That-Doesnt-Suck/dp/0761163239
User_6502147
Two things. Knowing where to put the camera....out of 11,000 possible places within a set. If you repeat the action....do it from variety of different angles. This was not from the book, but from people that worked with film (not video) all their lives. The last suggestion came from Ralph Rosenbloom who edited and collaborated on several projects with Woody Allen.
Les
