Canon Announces 5 New PowerShot Models, a New PIXMA Printer, and the Connect Station at CES 2015

<p>On Monday, January 5, 2015, <a href="http://usa.canon.com">Canon USA</a> made several product announcements at the <a href="http://www.cesweb.org">Consumer Electronics Show (CES)</a> being held in Las Vegas, NV.</p>

<strong><br /></strong>Three new super-zoom cameras were added to Canon's PowerShot SX line-up, providing users with high-quality imaging, advanced features, and fast focusing:</p>

<li><strong>PowerShot SX530 HS</strong>, $429.99, available in February 2015 in black, offering 50x optical zoom, built-in Wi-Fi & NFC connectivity, the SX530 HS is ideal for those who want to take high-quality close-up shots and who want a camera that is excellent in low-light situations. Other noteworthy features include: 16 Megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor, Canon’s DIGIC 4+ Image Processor, Intelligent IS, high speed AF, advanced Zoom Framing Assist, Creative Shot mode, Smart AUTO technology, Hybrid AUTO, and 1080p Full HD video.</li>

Print high-quality documents or photos with the new PIXMA MX492 AIO printer, available in black or white for $99.99. Its notable features include:</p>

The "centerpiece that unites your Canon imaging devices," the new Canon Connect Station CS100 is a photo and video storage device that connects to multiple compatible imaging devices and allows users to easily store, view, and share images and videos. It will be available in April 2015 for $299.99.</p>

<p>Featuring NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities and Wi-Fi, users can simply tap the NFC icon on compatible Canon digital cameras or camcorders to automatically import new images and videos wirelessly to the CS100 and view them on a connected HDTV. The device also features SD and CF memory card slots and a USB connection for importing images.</p>
