<p>The Ruby-throat hummingbirds are still moving through on their fall migration. That's about as "fall" as it gets here in south Texas. Love seeing real "fall" pictures from around the country. The colors are gorgeous! :) (D7000/500mm@1/2000, f/6.3, ISO 640)</p>

<p>Hi guys! It is late autumn here, and we had some heavy rain today. Went hunting for raindrops and tried not to get shot by the moose hunters. They are all over the place, shooting on everything that moves :-)</p><div></div>

<p>I have a theory that what we best like to shoot as photographers is usually that at which what we are weakest. I like night and low-light photography.</p>

<p>The following sequence was taken at one of my clients' office. They do refractory (high temperature brick and insulation) repairs for heavy industry: power plants, paper mills, aluminum, forges, etc. They have crews that travel the country doing refractory installations and repairs. The guys make excellent cement finishers and are replacing the parking lot at the main office. </p>

<p>The following were taken with a D300 with 70 -200 f/2.8 VR and an SB900. I'm practicing while the guys are finishing.</p>
