nigel_farmer
Hi
I have been using PSE for the last couple of years and have now purchased Lightroom 4, which is proving to be an excellent purchase. My PSE catalog was on a local hard drive and my photos on a NAS drive, connected to my main (editing) PC by Ethernet. I upgraded my PSE catalog to lightroom and this also resides on the local drive.
I have a mapped network drive ( P: )to the root (image) folder on the NAS. PSE did not have good support for network drives, so all the file locations in the PSE catalog were in UNC format eg \\192.....\photos\.... as they are now in the Lightroom Catalog.
I have now performed my first batch imports into Lightroom and now my catalog images are split into two separate locations, the UNC location in which I can see all subfolders prior to upgrading to Lightroom, and the P: drive in which I can only see the subfolders created by imports subsequent to using Lightroom.
Both the UNC path and the P: drive point to the same physical location and I want to see all images under one location, not split across two. Is it possible to update the location of all images that reference the UNC path, to now reference the P: drive instead?

preston_merchant
If I understand your quandary, all you have to do is right click on the greyed-out catalog names under Folders on the left in Lightroom and choose "Update Folder Location." Lightroom will then show the catalog in the proper place.
Do this with only the main drive plugged in -- the correct drive where you want everything to appear in LR. This way, the outdated drive will be greyed out and you can choose the new location.
