Crank-loading type TLR?

Recommended Posts

hello everyone!

I've searching a TLR on e?ay with crank-loading system or equivalent

one with double-exposure prevent system such as Ricoh Diacord.

so I found Ricoh Diacord, Yashica 124[124G] have crank or

double-exposure prevent system.

anyone got any idea please suggest other ones.

thanks!

Most Ricoh Diacords have a knob, not a crank, although they do have double-exposure prevention. Personally, I find a knob much more ergonomic than a crank. A knob can be operated with one hand whereas with a crank you have to use the other hand to hold the camera steady. The Flexaret is another TLR with a crank (some models).<div>00GF37-29706684.jpg.39afe15f07dd2a64c81f93e9bbf02c9a.jpg</div>

All Rolleiflex Automats, original Standard, new Standard, all prewar Baby models, Rolleiflex Letter models, Rolleiflex T, Rolleimajic I and II. All Yashica-Mats, all Minolta Autocords, Ikoflex III, Primo Jr./Sawyers Mk IV, Walz automat 44, Topcoflex automats, Kallowflex, Flexaret models I, II, III, Mamiya C 220, 330, and the Ansco Automatic Reflex.

I personally like just about any TLR, but the Automat style cameras are much easier to shoot, and are a real joy to use.

I'm not sure what your question is asking.

Are you looking for a TLR to buy with a crank winder and double exposure prevention?

If so, I have an all-metal beautiful Yashica 124 (not G) that I am not using. The only flaw is that the exposure meter needle doesn't operate, but accurate batteries are not easily avalable anyway. It can be fixed but I always use a hand meter anyway...much more accurate.

$150 USD plus shipping. My e-mail is tefphoto@earthlink.net

The Ricoh TLR with the crank wind is the Ricohmatic 225. Same lens as the Diacords. Both great cameras. Some say the knob wind equivalents in certain brands (with same top end lenses) are more robust (Yashica?). My own experience with Minolta Autocord is that its crank wind mechanism is quite durable.
