Nikon Wednesday 2012: #27

<p>Great hot weather picture, Matt—cool and refreshing. Glad to see you're still able to lead off despite the storm damage in your area.</p>

<p>I probably didn't use the smartest settings for this one. Had just walked outside after shooting in a dimly lighted bowling center, was distracted by talking on the cell phone, and wanted to grab this before it went away, which it promptly did.</p><div></div>

<p>A shot taken from the lunch room deck at my office. The Blue Angels were practicing for an airshow this past weekend. The sounds of the jets flying low over our building was amazing. Happy 4th all!</p><div></div>

<p>Another week of hot and humid weather here in Maryland, but last week we escaped to Acadia National Park in Maine to cool off in the rain. This photo is one of the paths in Thuya Gardens overlooking Winter harbor.</p><div></div>

My family and I got a chance to get out to see a firework show downtown Chicago, I managed to capture some street shots with my Nikon d300.</p><div></div>

<p>A very inspiring set of photos already this morning... thanks everyone! This photo was made in our backyard yesterday as our grand daughter cooled off in a low sprinkler to get relief from a 100 degree heat index in Port Washington, WI (usually cooler near the lake).</p><div></div>
