ten_ox
I'm not sure what's happening here, but any attempt to load photo.net or any page from the site just times out in Firefox 12.0. Tried disabling A*Bl*ck, but same problem.

Anyone had a similar problem or have a suggested solution?
Even a problem solving track would be good, just not sure what's going on here.

Hope this is the appropriate forum.

Tim

lex_jenkins
We have been getting time outs on some pages lately, so it might not be your browser or ISP. In particular the "new responses" forum view has been sluggish in my area.

If you're using other Firefox add ons such as NoScript, try customizing or disabling them on photo.net. I finally completely disabled NoScript on photo.net, mostly because it interfered with proper function of the pull down menus, WYSIWYG reply editor (which uses the Javascript based TinyMCE editor) and other stuff.

Finally, try www.downforeveryoneorjustme. If that works, you can be certain it's either your computer, your ISP or, rarely, your IP.
joshroot
Not having any problems here. Given that nobody else seems to be reporting it, I have to assume that the issue is on your end. What happens if you try another browser?

joshroot
Leo,

When you try to login and it returns you to the login page, does it show the "my workspace/sign out" link at the top, or does it still show the "register/login" link? Do you get any sort of error message when you try to login?
ten_ox
I'm still having the same problem -- can't open any pages on photo.net using latest version of FireFox. I've logged in using Chrome browser to post this message, but FF is my normal choice. It contacts the server with a page-load request apparently, but then just sits there spinning until it times out.

Not sure what's causing it, but I can't log in because I never even get that far!

T
tom_mann1
FWIW, I used FF 12 for months without a problem and now am up to FF 13.0.1, still without problems.

Tom M
joshroot
Ten, I'm not sure there is anything we could do on our end could cause one browser to work fine and another to not work at all. Both FF and Safari work fine for me. Have you tried clearing FF's cache?
