james_west6
Does anybody know if Mamiya are still producing the Mamiya 7II & lenses?
Their website has no Mamiya film bodies or lenses on it at all and there seems to no longer be any references to the M7II's, RB's or RZ's whatsoever. All that is displayed now is Mamiya Leaf & all digital etc.
The Mamiya Japan site has the film bodies, however that site is years old and no longer relevant or up to date.
I have tried contacting Mamiya (or are they PhaseOne now?) however have not received a response thus far?
Would really appreciated any input on this.

dave_s
My impression had been they stopped making the 7II several years ago, but I don't know when. They are readily available second-hand.

I hadn't been to the Mamiya website for quite a while. What impressed me is that everything but the 645DF and Leaf stuff is now listed as a 'legacy product', including the RZ67 ProIID.
stuart_richardson
I have no insider information on this, but it makes sense, doesn't it? They were bought by Phase One. There is also no good reason for them to announce that something is discontinued if they still have stock. If they have stopped making them, they will probably just make rolling discontinuations as things go out of stock.

james_west6
Ahhh, have now noticed the 'legacy' section on the site now. It was almost hidden from the viewer. Thanks.
ed_sawyer
They are still made and available new, however the price in the US is egregiously high, so almost everyone buys them used or gray-market from ebay (the far east).

-Ed
