jon_shumpert2
I was testing a new old camera with Velvia and decided to give Walmart a chance. The slides came out perfect. Now I know the camera works fine and have a new place to get my slides developed. Does anyone know who they use or if they do it in their own lab?

dangoldman
i believe all film in the US goes to Dwayne's - as do the Fuji mailers.
vince-p
Is it cheaper to use Walmart than to go to Dwayne's by mail oneself? Aside from postage of course, which is the other side of the driving to and enduring Walmart coin.
nicholas_rapak
It is cheaper via Walmart than via Dwayne's the last time I checked. The reason is that Walmart treats film developing as a loss leader: They make no money (or may even lose a few cents) on each roll of film, but since most of the time the lab is in the back of the store, you have to walk through aisles and aisles of high-profit merchandise in order to get to your no-profit film.
cabbiinc
If you want to know where it goes just grab a drop off envelope and call the 800 number on it. It's a Fuji lab. When the Fuji lab gets something they don't process they send it on to Dwaynes.
