george_loepfe
I am the new owner of a Pentax 400 f5.6 smc-m. My first chance to test it was at the local duck pond. There must have been a thousand geese in the open water, and they were getting really loud when we got close! Camera was a K20D.

bobbollinger
Thanks, Howard and Jemal. Your compliments have encouraged me to post more photos. But I have to go out and make some first.
MattB.Net
Howard - thanks! I like your first one. That's a cool looking buiulding and I love how it's illuminated.
John - great detail in that cat's eye. Good stuff.
Markus - nice work on all three. How did you light the kiwi, through glass or something?
Yury - I like that last one. The reflections are very nice and the smooth water against the grass texture works well.
Bob - lovely scene
Sigmar - nice snow day! both good shots.
Haig - love the road runner!
Jemal - thanks. I like your second, nice night scene.
George the ducks among the geese is a nice one. Love the repetition!

markus maurer
Matt, I had the Kiwi slice on a glass plate and placed that on a DIY softbox made of a small shoebox and alu foil glued to the walls and sticked a slave AF500FTZ flash inside the box and triggered it with the AF280T pointing towards me. Thanks for asking and your comments.
