stephen_bellacera
Hi Everyone!
I've been searching for the best slide show program out there, and I wanted to get your take.
My top candidate is ProShow but I'm not sure if I can afford $250!
What's your thoughts?
john_deerfield
The best? Probably Adobe After Effects. But if $250 is out of your budget, then you won't like the price of After Effects! For what it's worth, I hear good things about ProShow.
stephen_bellacera
Yeah Proshow Producer is very nice! They also have Proshow gold which is only $70, and that seems just as good...maybe I'll go with that for now.
savagesax
I kind of like Proshow too. Fairly easy to learn.

markonestudios
I use Proshow Gold and it has proved more than sufficient. Easy interface. Like with any software, it has a bit of a learning curve in order to get the best output, but by and large it works well for me
david_guerino
Animoto is definitely worth checking out. Very effective when time is of the essence. The rendering is done on their servers, and they send you an e-mail when your slide show is ready for viewing. If you don't like what has been done, you can have it re-render with new transitions, and they guarantee no one will be the same.
