Everything mounts great, and the image through the viewfinder looks good. When I take the shot, I get this:<br> Err 01 Communications between the camera and the lens is faulty. craigd Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 <p>I think the extender is making the camera think there is an EF lens attached, but there isn't, so the message is literally correct from the camera's point of view. Try removing the extender or putting electrical tape over its electrical contacts (on the camera side).</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
