savagesax
Tell the groom "at ease," means putting his hands behind him!!! Not in front! I was in the Air Farse and we'd have to run a few miles for doing this! Seriously, it's a very cool shot. I've made this mistake several times when first starting out, when not thinking about poses, but watch out and try not to cut of the feet. Maybe the original image the feet show up and you just cropped a bit too tight. I'm sure no one will notice it or even care about it, therefore I still really like the pichure. savagesax
Raymond - use the photo anytime you wish. It always gets some laughs. Even from the hotel wedding coordinator! She will sometimes refer you. I'm amazed at all of the great shots! Such talant in this forum.
markonestudios
Karl, I really like your "War Stories" photo. It was one of those authentic, non-orchestrated moments. Yes, it could have its technical flaws, but in terms of storytelling and relevance to the groom and his groomsmen, it has a poignancy all its own.

Marilyn, I like your Flying Monkeys shot. I would crop it a bit differently. Too much happening below and not necessarily adding to the shot...

mitch_hammes
Thanks for the feedback on my "at ease" photo Bob. That photo is from 18 months ago and was the 2nd wedding I'd ever shot. I've since learned not to crop so tightly while shooting. To have you like my photo gives me hope! Thanks again.

fuccisphotos
LOVE the colors in the whirly-gigs one marc. Are they SOOC, or something else in post processing?
fotografz
Thanks Vail. It was a bright, contrasty summer day ... that popped the colors nicely ... and the camera used also has contrasty lenses. I just lowered the shutter speed for the second shot.
