Usually the F3 HP, but recently I 've been taking my Pentacon FM with the Zeiss Jena 2.8 50 mm Tessar or the Pentax Super-Tak 28 mm. Light-weight, sharp lenses, fun to use eyeballing the exposure with the Sunny-16 rule. With print film as long as I don't underexpose, it gets great results.

On Monday I will be doing something which will horrify all the usual participants in the wedding forum. I will be taking photographs at my mother in law's wedding with a Pentax Spotmatic F and possibly a Minolta XE-1. I will probably take my Rolleicord for black and white too.

Andy Collins, it's nice to see someone else shares my high opinion of the Pentax A 35-105/3.5. I am really pleased with the results every time I mount this lens. It's sharp throughout the range and has the classic Pentax colour rendition that is usually most noticeable in the prime lenses. The constant 3.5 aperture is bright enough to make focussing easy. The split image never darkens on my MX. I've also had good luck shooting this lens on an MZ-S. The focussing screen on the MZ-S has just enough grit to reliably focus manually.
As to what I'm shooting today, its a Contax 159MM that I just got. I'm test driving it as an updated Spotmatic replacement. The dim viewfinders on my Spotties make shooting with them less fun than they should be. I'm hoping that the bright, high-eyepoint viewfinder on the Contax will be a good match to my Super Taks and SMC Taks (with M42>Contax adapter of course.)

David Scott, I have a Contax 167 MT and have started using an M42 adapter on it with some success. You can view some of my recent shots over in Modern Film Cameras here.

I have tried using both a SMC Tak 50/1.4 and a Auto Tak 50/1.8 on it but with no success. When you screw these lenses on all the way the aperture ring binds and it wont turn. I was very dissapointed with this as I have no trouble using them on my Minolta XE's with an M42 adapter.

However, I have no issues mounting my old Mamiya/Sekor M42's on the contax. They seem to work just fine and some of the results can be seen in the post above. I completely agree about the viewfinder. My Contax has a wonderfully bright screen and its a pure joy to use. I love my XE's probably more than any other camera but when I pick them up after the 167 the dimmer screen is a little disappointing. But then I get over it. :)

When you get the adapter please let me know if the Taks work on you 159.

I regularly use the Leica model c circa 1931. That makes it older tha me. But it works well, it fits in my pocket, and 35mm film is stil readily available. The f3.5 5cm Elmar is nickel plated and uncoated, but otherwise identical to the Elmar on my iiif.
Wonderful instrument, which I found at a flea market.

I can't wait to start shooting with my newly acquired Nikon F2 and Nikkor lenses, a pre-AI 50/1.4 and 55/1.2, and two 105/2.5's (one Ai-S and the other pre-AI).

I'm a Canon FD (and, latterly, EOS) guy, but have recently come under the influence of a Nikonian friend.

By the way, JDM, that's one scary looking rear element!

As someone said above, "a different day, a different classic." Today I may take my XD11 out and try a couple of lenses I got for it over the last few months. I've got the Rokkor 24-50mm and the Rokkor 28-85mm, both lenses that Mike G has posted beautiful pictures with. I'm glad to have them both, even though they overlap a little bit, and look forward to using them. I'll let you know how it all turns out.
