Minoxit
My new EC is behaving erratically. No news here, since the last 2 had issues as well. However,I am at loss with what is going on.

I changed the batteries.FYI,4 x cells 1.5V Silver Oxide in a tube taken from a used V27PX.I am using also the tip and bottom plates, but no dividers.I am measuring the voltage,is OK.Put in camera, first 2 or 3 shots the shutter is opening and closing as it should. After the first 3-4 shots, the light is there, but the shutter remains open(it closes only if I cock the camera). What gives here?

I also used Alkaline cells, but no change.Anyone can help, please? Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

JT
www.juliantanase.com
MTC Photography
Julian, have you check the voltage of battery in situ, ie, when the EC is in open position ?
Some tired battery may show correct voltage, but not when loaded.
I use four 386 silver oxide batteries in EC

Minoxit
To conclude this posting:apparently the fault lied with exhausted batteries.Popped yesterday some fresh LR44(a tad thicker than LR43/AG12 same voltage though).I already went thru a whole film without any problems.

Thanks all for your kind support and help.

Kind regards,
JT
