Lupo, Thank you. I have only two photos that I have ever gone to the point of even matting. This one will probably also get a frame and a place on the wall. It feels good getting this shot after having spent all spring, summer and fall at the wetlands with my camera. Made it all worthwhile photographically

Camera: Canon EOS 7D
Lens: Canon EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
Exposure Program: Manual
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 23 mm
ISO Speed: 320
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: On, Fired

Canon 580EXII attached to the camera acting as the remote master only. Canon 430EXII (remote slave) shooting bare while attached to a boom high camera center. Brought into Photoshop and increased the saturation and contrast. I also did a center gradient overlay to really make the center of the photo look overexposed.

The postings so far this week are simply outstanding.
Juan, thank you for the compliment on last week's race car image, it is nearing end of season and the colors reminded me of Fall.
Nathan- that image should be on a brochure, your wall or both. One of the most interesting and colorful waterfall images I've seen in a long time, love the opposing angles and flow movement.
Ken P.-Looks like something out of a movie.
David C.- Beautiful delicate tones and reflection, it almost feels like winter.
Brad- Love the way you held all of those tones and detail in the body art, nice angle. I find the left edge a little distracting and would crop it slightly, but that's me.
Mike D.-Nice group shot, everyone seems involved and passionate about what they're doing. Not as easy as you've made it look.
Jeff S.- The woman's face on the bottom right just balances this out so well.
Elliot- Many sunsets seem cliche'-not this one. Those thorns look evil.
Mark K. -A high contrast image that at first reminds me of the days of Kodachrome, then when you look at the boat-there are shadow details!
Lupo-That looks so delicious.

Bill K. Congrats on the Wood Duck. Closest I've been to photographing a male was unkowingly stepping on a bank overhang that one was using for cover.
Thom P-Love the lighting and postwork on your sorting table image.
David S-Fantastic detail in that calf portrait.
Robert D- Not sure what those drums are, but love the B&W PP work.
Dan F- That's an amazing capture. The Colors, the motion and the simplicity of the background all came together. Agree with the others, that's one for the wall.
Running out of time, many more I would like to comment on but just can't squeeze it in.
I Took last weekend off so here is something a little different from 3 weeks ago. No HDR used, this guy looked like he had rolled around in a coal pit by the end of the day.

00ZT5Y-406639584.jpg.e0500d0c9a39a02ed11c3831c6ce4322.jpg
