I'm in love with my „Texas-Leica” - a Fujica GL690 with 3.5/100. I just got it a couple of days ago and wish I had more time to use it. Another favorite is a late Minolta Autocord. A couple of 35mm classic cameras would get more attention if my scanning-skills would be better.

Went out earlier and took some shots with a Minolta SRT-101 and f/1.7 Rokkor lens. This was a birthday present. :) Loaded up a new zinc-air 675 battery and a roll of Fuji Color 200 and away we went. Then, clouds rolled up and it start raining, so back to the house. (sigh....)

It has been a Pentax month for me. I've been using my KX, MX, and LX (one of my absolute favorites!) a lot, and I've been thoroughly impressed by the SMC Pentax-A 35-135 zoom that I bought a couple of months ago. This lens usually stays on the LX while the other two bodies usually have either a 50/1.4 or 24-50mm zoom mounted. A couple of weeks ago I also bought a Pentax ES II with a chrome top, the first of this kind that I've seen. With the SMC Takumar 50/1.4 mounted, it makes a perfect package.

Rick Hi! that is almost an addiction. I am getting a similar Nova 1B this week. Not that I needed one. But the guy was selling it for BP 0.99 and said everything is sticky, but all items are in tact. That was a temptation/challenge to bring it back to life, soon. What a pleasure it delivers when you get it going and shining!
On your Nova 1B, I notice the plastic tip on the lever wind is missing. I usually fix that with a fibre plate [the kind that they use to cover electrical outlets on the wall] cut and honed, using epoxy glue. The Nova 1B is probably the best made of the Nova series, though the Super TL has more modern features. Looking forward to some of your brilliant pics with the 1B. sp.

Recently it's been the Canon 7 Rangefinder and Canon Lenses. Such a nice camera. Someone just gave me 300 ft of Tmax B&W bulk film so I guess I'm back to reloading cassettes and shooting B&W for a while. I like B&W and don't mine processing but the scanning can be a chore. Anyway it's cheap so I can shoot up a storm. I'll do some clip tests this weekend to dial it in.
I'm also experimenting with my vintage Canon FD lenses on a Samsung EVIL camera. (Big fun but nothing this crowd would be interested in)

I have two lined up for when I get back from a short trip.

One is a more complete look at a lovely black Canonet QL17.

The other is a test of an M40 Biotar on an original post-war Praktiflex. The lens is badly scratched on front and rear surfaces, but a look through the admittedly dim waist-level finder suggests the possibility that it might still be usable, even if only as a 'soft' lens.

00ZUGC-407651584.jpg.0a06be1aac09023c2713a499b49d911f.jpg
