On mornings when the temperature's been just right here in the Potomac River valley, we've had the perfect fog machine in place. On an early morning heading back from some work, I couldn't stop myself from grabbing the camera bag from the car when I saw an empty parking structure wholly gobbled up by a thick fog bank. It was blissfully peaceful, and I found myself fixated on The Exit. Been socked in somewhere with your Nikon gear? Share a photo!

Rene11664880918
Happy Wednesday everyone…..
Thank you for your comments on my portrait last week. More than me, the girl on the shot was very happy about it…..

Last night while watching TV I look through the window and II thought this was a good shot to take….

Since I don't have anything close to a telescope I did what I always do when shooting the moon, stacking teleconverters. Not the best way to do it but the best way available….

D300 - TC17 II - Kenko 1.5x MC DG - AFS 300 f/4

Cheers!!!

chriscourt
Our happy little Basenji++, Puck, approaching terminal velocity on a Cayman beach.
This 105 VR is one sharp piece of glass. I have other shots where his dog-tag is flipped, and not only is the engraved name and phone number clearly visible, but the depth in the engraving is obvious. I'm impressed.

tsypkin
Good Wednesday to you all!
Since Matt started out with the East Coast fog, here is a sample of fog from the West Coast -- more specifically, from the Lost Coast area, Wildcat Road, about 25 miles south of Eureka, CA. I must confess that the fog is from the last month, but I am sure that it's not any different from the fog there any day -- it is a fog-rich area!

LeTGiao_Gallery
My contribution this week is an old photo of Fall foliage on Kancamangus Hiway, New Hampshire. New Englad is now awashed in brilliant colors like those in this photo. I am now about 3000miles across the country in the West Coast. I miss the foliage very much and vow to return next year for the season.

r1a2d3ok
Went to the park for a walk last night. Finally cooled down in the 60's. Caught a glimpse of this wild rabbit as I walked towards my car. Slowly got close and watched him eat. He kept a close watch on me also. Got a few shot before he took off.
Nikon D3, Nikon 300 2.8, 1/100 SS, ISO 1,000, F/2.8
