andylynn
So I picked up a T4 Super Weatherproof at the Goodwill for $20, put in the battery from another camera, shot a few shots then forgot about it for a few weeks - now it's giving me the low battery indicator and the motorized operations sound sluggish - I'd like to just replace the battery. If I do that mid-roll, will it pick up where it left off, or do I need to unload it first?
Rob_the_waste
More than likely there will be something that allows the camera to retain the information if you have to change the batteries. I'm sure this problem would have been taken into consideration when it was designed. I'm not familiar with this particular camera, but if the battery door is independent of the film gate, I don't expect it should be a problem.
alex macphee
On my T5 (UK designation for T4 Super), I can change the battery in mid roll with no problem. It still remembers the frame number.
