<p>The Tall ships were in town last week. 5DMK2 ISO 200 1/400 f/11 Sears 300mm lens on an adapter. This lens is terrible on my crop sensor camera but is ok on the 5d can't figure out why. </p><div></div>

<p>There are a lot of wildlife and flowers this week so I will keep that going. This photograph makes me LOL. It is like hiding under the covers so that the boogeyman can not get you.</p><div></div>

<p>Mark, Don't know where this was staged (or not) but this tortise in the middle of the road becomes a target for too many. I hope it was moved. I rescued a turtle from the road today.<br>

A nice photo, with good, even lighting, and clear definition and excellent DOF illustration.</p>

<p>We had a picnic at Cherry Creek Reservoire, located just South of Denver. It was a beautiful evening and right after the sun set I saw this sail boat race finishing up under an incredible sky and snapped it with my 5D MkII and EF 24-105mm f/4L. ISO 100, 1/60th second and f/7.1:</p>

<p>Last night (Thursday) I went to a see a couple of former students (the bassist and drummer) and the band they are in. It was their second gig of the evening. They had played pregame at a minor league baseball game and then zoomed here for their regular Thursday night gig. They do covers of mostly Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn with a few original compositions thrown in. Each week they are sounding better and better.</p><div></div>
