Nice work everyone. I have a broken but workable Nikon S2 (rangefinder, for the uninitiated) with the amazing Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 SC lens which I took out for a careful spin in NYC a few days ago. This is a quick-change tire place on Tenth Ave near the Convention Center. It could be 1936.

00Yr2U-367069584.jpg.1d54ad8f513a55ac366f682acc6db5c1.jpg

No bicyclists were harmed in the production of this photo. No D3 shutter clicks were wasted.
It was a dark and rainy night. My wife's brother's band was playing at the local pub. This photo is the fingers of the keyboardist. Lighting was SB-600 with a Rogue Flashbender, off-camera through the use of CLS. CLS actually triggered.

00Yr2e-367071584.jpg.e71b7b857bbdaa4a6d827ef304e6f20d.jpg

Very nice so far peeps. Couldn't decide to post Saturday auto show photos or Sunday philharmonic concert. Decided on the the Farmer's Market at 3rd and Fairfax in Los Angeles, annual vintage auto show. Been working my factory refurb D300s the past couple of weeks and am I impressed after over four years with D70s. This is a great camera.

00Yr2s-367087584.jpg.50aa6d36aec26283ebaad03a4fa69f4c.jpg

Very nice photos everyone! Thank you to those who mentioned mine last week. No food was used in this photo of this skittish little male Vermillion Flycatcher, but *I* became food for a few chiggers while stalking it trying to get close enough. I hate chiggers!!!
Would've posted this last week but we lost power, so here's a photo from last week's Lantern Floating in Honolulu on Memorial Day. No food in the shot, although there was plenty being cooked by the people that came and stayed at the beach all day.

Greetings all.
Just a quick one before work.
Had a really fun shoot on sunday with a couple of ladies. While outside a little horseplay ensued. Not a technically great shot but it's value is in the fun factor.

00Yr4p-367131584.jpg.c50eb4e5ea815e547bc531a8033b920b.jpg

Good Nikon Wednesday morning to everyone. My photo this morning is of the Asbury Woods Nature Center in Erie, Pa. The roof of this particular building is covered with chives and other plant life. A very cool place with miles of hiking trails.

My wife and I were at the Hoover Dam in Nevada about a month ago, and while waiting for the elevator I saw this open window to the mountains. Love to browse all the beautiful work here on Nikon Wednesday, keep up the good work. Sorry about the over sized image working with a new computer.

00Yr4v-367137584.thumb.jpg.6f930ede67e3c5ff1f6c7480b563cede.jpg
