<p>This super yacht, with its helicopter, looks very imposing next to all the sailboats in Camden Maine harbor. While taking the picture, a local resident told me that she had never seen a larger yacht in the harbor. I wonder who the owner is. </p><div></div>

<p>in the spirit of memorial day, i offer this photo of the final resting place of a great american: chief justice john marshall. taken at shockoe hill cemetery in richmond, va.</p><div></div>

<p>I did a photo booth at my friend's daughter's wedding as a present to the bride and groom. Most picture people took themselves but for this this "test shot" I triggered the camera, which was tethered to a laptop for people to instantly review the images. Space was very confined, but it worked out OK. Everyone had a lot of fun.</p><div></div>

<p>I spent the weekend on campus at Syracuse University attending a family wedding. Beautiful grounds, buildings, and architecture.</p><div></div>

<p>No festival for me, but we did have a new house guest this week. A little orphan ground hog. The one thing that I thought was neat about this picture was that I caught a reflection of myself in its eye. It may not show up well in the downsized picture posted here.</p>

<p><img src="../photo/13264172" alt="" />Good day - this tulip is among the last in my area and it was shot early in the morning with my 70-300 VR at 300mmwith a circular polarizer at 300mm wide open. It was the only one of it's type in a bed of tulips of different colors. The background represents the 'other' tulips.</p><div></div>

Not a party but a joy. The joy of music with my baroque friends in a suburban Buenos Aires church, two Sundays ago.<br>

<p>This was taken last summer, but I didn't get around to processing it until this week. It was in a very sketchy part of Belize, and I was starting to accumulate a no-so-friendly crowd, but I think it was worth it for the photos.</p>

<p>We visited the DFW National Cemetery on Memorial Day. I will admit that we visited more from a sense of curiosity, but we left feeling profoundly thankful for the sacrifices represented here.</p><div></div>
