My Cover Photo and Article in "Viewfinder"; Nokton 50/1.1 Vindicated

Below is the cover of the latest Viewfinder magazine bearing my photograph of a hot air balloon floating toward a French chateau. I used a Leica M8 and Nokton 50/1.1). My article, "Up & Under in France with the Nokton 50/1.1 and M8," is about shooting the balloon and the cellars of a champagne maker. I am including samples from that article.

Publishing the article and having one of the photographs for it chosen for the cover was an honor. But on top of that, I feel that the photos I took with the Nokton 50/1.1 show it is an outstanding lens at mid-apertures ("Up") and wide-open ("Under") and refute certain reviewers who claim this is a bad lens at whatever f-stop you use.
