Alex_Es Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 <p>Below is the cover of the latest <em>Viewfinder </em>magazine bearing my photograph of a hot air balloon floating toward a French chateau. I used a Leica M8 and Nokton 50/1.1). My article, "Up & Under in France with the Nokton 50/1.1 and M8," is about shooting the balloon and the cellars of a champagne maker. I am including samples from that article.</p> <p>Publishing the article and having one of the photographs for it chosen for the cover was an honor. But on top of that, I feel that the photos I took with the Nokton 50/1.1 show it is an outstanding lens at mid-apertures ("Up") and wide-open ("Under") and refute certain reviewers who claim this is a bad lens at whatever f-stop you use.</p> <p> </p><div></div> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
