From the rose garden of the local City Hall. Canon Eos XSi 18-55 kit lens ISO 200 f/5.6 1/3200 The wind was blowing the blossom around so I went for the faster shutter speed and wanted the shallower depth of field anyways.

00Ye7N-353071584.jpg.91bf433bcc11f615474a5f5638e9a807.jpg

This is from my favorite river in North Georgia on April 16 when the flow rate was about 2000 cubic feet per second, about 10x normal. The views, and experience of all that water, was awesome. I hopefully will show more of this series in coming weeks.

00YeAF-353109684.jpg.384520d40171002361d5bbeba3c24abd.jpg

I'm always finding stuff I can improve upon with my work, especially when it pales in comparison to the great stuff I see on this thread each week. Today was the only day I was able to get anything. It was a reward day for students who have done well or improved academically. I helped with the rock climbing wall and got a few shots of my students too.

00YeBg-353141584.jpg.beb9f701a0892f0d37d514cdfab2cfe9.jpg

Great shots as always!

This week, I have another pic of the cat that thinks he owns me. Here he's out in back of the office and see's me with the camera. He runs to me to scent mark me, then back to the hunting he was absorbed in before.

00YeCt-353149584.JPG.19ea9b8d9fbde03f8a20cdb3a2ffa913.JPG
