<p>From the rose garden of the local City Hall. Canon Eos XSi 18-55 kit lens ISO 200 f/5.6 1/3200 The wind was blowing the blossom around so I went for the faster shutter speed and wanted the shallower depth of field anyways.</p><div></div>

<p>After 2 week of sunny weather, it's raining today. Already getting dark when i got home.<br>

When i fliped on the lights this flower just asked for a quick picture.<br>

@ Nathan, on something wrong with every photo: thats why i hang them on the living room wall.<br />you see them every day and after a while you just figure out what to do better next time.<br>

@ David Huff : are the photo opportunity signs still there?<br />I have a simmilar photo, taken from the same point.<br />mine was a sunny day in september 1991.. canon A1, 50 1.4 i think.<br />Just moved it back to the living room wall.</p>

<p>This is from my favorite river in North Georgia on April 16 when the flow rate was about 2000 cubic feet per second, about 10x normal. The views, and experience of all that water, was awesome. I hopefully will show more of this series in coming weeks.</p><div></div>

<p>I'm always finding stuff I can improve upon with my work, especially when it pales in comparison to the great stuff I see on this thread each week. Today was the only day I was able to get anything. It was a reward day for students who have done well or improved academically. I helped with the rock climbing wall and got a few shots of my students too.</p><div></div>

<p>This week, I have another pic of the cat that thinks he owns me. Here he's out in back of the office and see's me with the camera. He runs to me to scent mark me, then back to the hunting he was absorbed in before. </p><div></div>

<p>It's still Thursday for another hour or so! My wife and I accompanied our daughter to the Coachella festival the weekend before last. I felt old. But it was really a great time - great music, great sights.</p><div></div>

<p>Robert L. I was surprised and pleased to see your picture of Margaret Becker. I remember seeing her in concert and talking to her afterward back when she was first getting big. This was back in the late '80s. I didn't know that she was still active.</p>
