Seems like my first post didn't take. Apologize if this is a duplication.
I am spending four days in Bangkok in November , and am starting my research as to what to photograph ..... people, culture, temples, markets, etc. Any leads on web sites, local photographers, etc. would be appreciated.
Cheers,

Take the many public taxi boats down the river Chao Phraya. You will see a genuine cross section of people and culture as you cross from side to side.

What to see of worth in Bangkok :-

Wat Pho

Grand Palace

Wat Arun

Wat Mahathat

Wat Benchamabophit

Lumpini Park, esp. at either end of the day

If you want to see Westerners behaving badly then by all means visit Pat Pong at night.......

Thais as a bunch are gracious, proud people. They are usually easy going, smiley and mind their own business. Just don't be shoot obnoxiously nor bring up the Khmer border issues. Well...I am Asian, so maybe I usually don't get too noticed shooting street, I guess...Happy shooting!
