mike_smith2
The 150F2 lens performs very well with a single 1.4tc with minimal quality loss, but there is a big gap in the E system with no dedicated 2x converter to get to occasional 300mm lens (600mm equivelent in 35mm terms) usage. Has anyone daisy chained two 1.4 tcs to get to the rough equivelent of a 2x tc, and is the loss in resolution acceptable or horrible? - inevitably there will be a loss in resolution in any system using mutiple tcs, but is this combination producing acceptable results. The 1.4 tc has a chip reporting its presence, does daisy chaining result in loss of AF - ie automatic shut down in same way as using 1.4 tc and extension tube together? A 2 stop in light reduction should still give F4 and full AF capability in normal terms. Mike
