helen_page1
Thanks for your help everyone. I still couldn't decide on what film, so I have gone for a selection afterall! I've chosen to try fuji reala 100 (despite the problems that may occur when scanned) kodak portra 400, and I'm trying a slide film, fuji provia 100F. Ive gone for 6 of each so Hopefully I can shoot the majority and find which one to continue using. I neglected to mention that this is actually for a final major project, which is why I need to pick one film in order to keep the end result consistent! User_4136860
Fuji Reala 120 size is still available in Britain http://www.fujilab.co.uk/catalog/film-colour-c-30_31.html and Fuji UK will ship Worldwide, however 35mm Reala is discontinued but is still available until stocks run out so I've filled my freezer with it, IMO Reala is the best general purpose colour neg.100 ISO film I've ever used.

kparratt
I sadly agree with Don Essedi. Sadly because the best colour prints I have ever had from any lab anywhere, were from Fuji Reala, both from My Leica M3 with 1950s Summicron ... and roll film from the Hasselblad, all lenses. When all the High street labs in Oslo went over to digital prints.. they lost it. And they lost me. Now the film of choice is whatever I can get, have it processed and scan it myself. I buy whatever I can afford in London, and get back to Thailand. I may just be developing everything myself in the near future.
Sorry Helen. I'm went off on a tangent for a moment there.
User_4136860
Fuji Reala has four emulation layers not three like most other colour neg films, and produced better colour balance in mixed lighting situations .
