A good Wednesday to the Nikon community, and a hope that you've been making photographs. I'm headed into a busy time of year for photographing in the field, but March is still a cold, muddy, affair. I was out for an early, windy, and cold morning of scouting, and met up with this affable mare. She was still sporting her wooly winter coat, but seemed happy to help me tune up for my coming projects. Been out warming up that Nikon gear? Share a photo!

00YMGF-338139584.jpg.f3a8e10c957f14b2f69121c7ccccb708.jpg

Today is Mardi Gras, still being central time here.
It was a good one and the threat of rain never materialized. The crowd was fun and the day went without issue. This is a flambeau carrier from last night's Orpheus Parade

Brady and I found my wooden chest full of my 'old school' nostalgia items. We came across this hat that was made for me by a friend, who is quite the talented bead sculpture in LA now. This hat was worn by me at many, many Dead and Phish shows. If this hat could talk, let me tell you. So, Brady found it, and loves it...my mother saw this photo with him in it, and I think she cringed just recalling me in my stinky, hippy days, wearing this hat, and said 'oh Jen' as she shook her head...I chuckled and told her at least it had been washed. My friend, Amanda, was so happy to see I still had the hat and said Brady wears it well. Good Wednesday to you all.

00YMGf-338145584.jpg.880d137627338d261d4cfe0155b7b3ad.jpg

Jana - great shot.
We here in Quebec got at least 18 inches of new snow on Monday so recent images will have that element in it. I try and find something appealing which I don't always suceed. This one is taken in Parc St. Catherine close to the St. Lawrence river. It was a sunny day but I almost froze my fingers taking a few shots. Here is one.

00YMGk-338147584.jpg.6d95ec05764bc4fd99ea75cd58c19258.jpg

Good Morning Guys...

Some cracking shots already. The brave (or mad) are out in Scotland, this one is a surfer putting in some wave time at the Beach in Fraserburgh. Sea wasn't huge but they were still putting on a good show...
