WJT
If you are visiting Cleveland, Ohio this month or next (January/February) you might like to stop by the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music . They will be having a juried showing of several dozen photographs by members of the Cleveland Photographic Society of subjects centered on the life and attractions of the greater Cleveland area. Yes, yours truly will have a couple masterpieces there too ;0)

The Institute is located at 11021 East Blvd in the University Circle area of Cleveland. The show will run from January 10th to about February 19th. This whole area is really worth a visit as it is host to such world-class institutions as Case Western Reserve University, Severance Hall (home of the Cleveland Orchestra) and the newly remodeled Cleveland Museum of Art.

(Sorry, my in-laws live in Cleveland.) Seem to be a lot of problems with the Flats these days? We do love the West Side Market--my wife's grandparents had a stall there soon after they 'got off the boat'.
WJT
Well Les, any larger city has some problems but looking to the future there is a wealth in Cleveland comparable to any great metropolitan area. I mentioned just three of them in my opening remark; there are hundreds within the city proper and just a few miles around it even more. This forum is for announcing member's news items, it is really not the appropriate place to discuss the good and bad of any subject. Regards.
