Looks like problems with Nikon's version continiues...just released and needs patches.
Rob Galbraith review reveals much of details that are needed to know, and not found in Pocket Wizard site.
However, there are some contradicitions in his review, if you read carefully,..
We need some more experienced users with Nikon.
Canon was easier to implement, and less problems there..

PW made no secret there would be firmware tweaks after the release - anyone not comfortable with that should not have bought. These devices are pretty complex so just like every piece of software in existence it will have incremental updates for new features and fixes. Look through the release notes are really there are no show stoppers there at all.

Pocket Wizard (PW) was promissing the product for Nikon, for last few years.
Comparatively, there was no single firmware upgrade to Nikon SB800/SB900. Why there needs to be upgrade to PW so soon ? Because the PW was perhaps not "fully cooked" yet, and released prematurely.
Comparing firmware in the PW to a complicated piece of software out there, is silly. Either PW knows how to do it, or they do not know... It is rather continuing the same theme of not being able to deliver reliable set of features, and improving it forever.
It is silly to expect any show stoppers from reading PW in their release notes.

We need to expect reliable product after years of promisses, without extending CLS capability into making an unreliable product. We rather need quality and not quantity of features that seems are mostly for marketing hype, an do not necessrily add to product reliability.
