yacoub_isaac
As usual some really great shots. I was on vacation going for an early morning jog and saw all these hot air balloons taking off, so I cut my run short and grabbed the camera.

purplealien
Great photos once again. My favorites are Paul Jim's owl, Keith B's portrait and Jeannean B's bees - great technique.
In the UK the weather has been dominating the news. I thought this shadow of a tree looked interesting falling on a pristine blanket of fresh snow.

richbodiesgym
Great pics, too many to pick a favorite. My pic is from my daughter's first indoor track meet at The U.S. Naval Academy. The race is the 60m Hurdles, my daughter is in the center and won this heat.

miguel_martinez4
Here's a picture I took last friday in Trafalgar Square while the cold wave was hitting London. The equiment used was a D60 w/ the 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX. I did use flash, although the white balance was chosen to yield a cold atmosphere. It alwo matched well with the blue lights being used at that moment. The original is a tad soft, since the low light meant my camera had a difficult time to accurately autofocus.

jeannean_.
Kent, the little critters are actually pretty cute at this size. They were about a 1/4" long. Smallest bees I've seen. I agree your neighbor's display is a bit bizarre...interesting. Thank you to those who commented on my photo. I enjoyed seeing all of yours! :)

ShunCheung
David Dvir, that is a nice fencing image. Was it captured with a camera and lens after they had fallen 23 feet? (See http://www.photo.net/casual-conversations-forum/00XogB)

I wonder what camera, lens, and lighting you used. Was there just one flash from behind the athlete?
