This is the response I got:

Dear Mr. Smith,

Thank you for contacting FUJIFILM North America Corporation. Please
allow us to assist you.

Please be advised that the FP-100B has been discontinued. We do not have
any current information on weather FUJIFILM will reintroduce this film
at any time in the future. FP-3000B is still available in 4x5 10 sheet
packs and 3.25x4.5 10 sheet packs. Therefore, we do not have
information regarding dealers who may still be carrying this product. We
are sorry that we are not able to assist you further.

We will pass your concerns to our Marketing Department for their review.

We sincerely hope this information has been beneficial to you. If you
should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact us in the future. It would be our pleasure to assist you again.

Thank you for your interest in FUJIFILM products and services.

Respectfully,

Rosemary, Product Agent
Contact Center
FUJIFILM North America Corporation

chuk - speaking for myself, my biggest reason for shooting instant film on 4x5 is testing - not so much for exposure, but to check composition especially at the corners of the frames that are sometimes hard to see on the gg on wide lenses. shooting on the medium format size doesn't really do me much good.

I got the same basic response as Jeff. Then a second email stating:
"I checked with our Professional film department and was informed that
they found approximately 10,000 packs of the medium format size,
FP-100B. This film could still be around for approximately 6 months."
..but what they don't say is that it is probably not 4 x 5.
Bob

Before you get too far along, your campaign would be better addressed to:
"Remler, Brandon" <BREMLER@fujifilm.com>
The response posted here seems a bit incorrect as well. I'm unaware of the regular FP100B being discontinued... I was informed that it was only the FP100B45. ALSO... FP3000B45 is not available yet... but will be.
Regardless, I agree, FP100B45 is sorely missed....

The response I received makes it clear that both FP-100B and FP-100B45 have been discontinued.
After the same opening as that quoted above, the second part continues:

"I checked with our Professional film department and was informed that
they found approximately 10,000 packs of the medium format size,
FP-100B. This film could still be around for approximately 6 months.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/278325-REG/Fujifilm_15200784_FP_10
0B_Professional_Instant_B_W.html

We will pass your concerns to our Marketing Department for their review.

We sincerely hope this information has been beneficial to you. If you
should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact us in the future. It would be our pleasure to assist you again.

Thank you for your interest in FUJIFILM products and services.

Respectfully,

Rosemary, Product Agent
Contact Center
FUJIFILM North America Corporation"

Hey Guys,

Maybe we would be better approaching the impossible project to see wether they could purchase the 4x5 machinery from Fuji and start to produce there own film.

At the moment the impossible project has no way to produce 4x5 film sheet or pack.
Does anyone think this is a good idea? Does anyone have any means to contact the impossible project ??

Starting to get short of 4x5 materials. Pretty scary. I can only get 160vc in 4x5 colour film from Kodak now.

 • 2 weeks later...

I asked once the same question, and 4x5 Ektar negative film entered the market on April 2010 (so Kodak said)...
BUT (!) they say also "ultra vivid colors": I would prefer the NC (normal color Portra ), because I personally do not like the "Ektachrome effect" in my images (now "Velvia effect"). It can be nice, but sometimes is too heavy for me.
Did anyone have some experience on this Ektar ?, Maybe Jeff could tell something. Thank you
